Making the World Better for Future Generations

The first Sunhak Peace Prize laureate will be announced.

During the past one year, 182 candidates from 66 countries were recommended to Sunhak Peace Prize Committee by nominators of world-renowned individuals, recipients of international prizes, international NGOs and academic associations.


16 Members of Sunhak Peace Prize Committee, including chairman Dr. Il-Shik Hong and former Secretary General of the United Nations Dr. Boutros Boutros-Ghali decided the first laureate through complex evaluations and scrupulous field researching processes. The criteria involves having future-oriented vision, contribution to human welfare, and association with this year's theme.

The main event for Sunhak Peace Award will be held on August 28, 2015 at Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas Grand Ballroom, Seoul, Korea.
